CompassSport   Leave a comment

The October issue of CompassSport arrived yesterday, and I'm enjoying reading it (as usual). I subscribed a year ago after Nick Barrable (the editor) visited us in Israel and wrote an article about one of our events, and I haven't been disappointed. Much of the magazine is about British orienteering, but being a British citizen I have an interest anyway.
We actually had a club subscription to CompassSport from 1994, but switched to O-Sport (now Orienteering Today) when it started up. I'll renew my personal subscription to CompassSport, but the way Orienteering Today looks at the moment I won't be renewing theirs (nor will anyone else around the world).
The best part of this issue is the annual Photo-O competition. It's usually fiendishly difficult, but this time I'm really going to try and solve it.
