I have some orienteering friends who won't agree with the title of this post, and others who won't believe that I wrote it, but it's true.
I had 10 days off from orienteering – first we missed a national event because of a fantastic weekend with Roni's family in Eilat (pictured below), then there was Daniel Griff's (national team coach) wedding a couple of days later, and then lack of sleep and long hours at work got the better of me, so I skipped training twice in a row. Now I'm recovered and back to normal.
Next month isn't going to be any better – I have a week of army duty, and then a week in Canada on business, which would be nice if the temperature didn't have a minus sign stuck at the beginning. So I'll just be trying to stay fit for the Israeli Championships on 19-20/2, and not to overwork myself with both my regular job and orienteering stuff.
