EYOC   Leave a comment

EYOC 2010 starts tomorrow, and we have a full team of boys there, coached by Oded Verbin. Instead of just listing their names, I can refer you to the organisers' page with all the details.
Notice that there are no girls on our team – I have a feeling that part of my job description next season may include preparing the junior girls (ages 15-16) for EYOC 2011. We started participating in this competition in 2007, and, like in JWOC, we have only ever sent one girl (Neta – see my previous posts).
Expectations are high, not just for Eran Segal, and this generation of young orienteers is showing a lot of potential. All the team were at a training camp in Czech Republic earlier this year, and coping with the rock formations there may be beneficial in Spain as well. I hope they succeed in orienteering to the best of their abilities.
Good luck!
